I don't even walk into walmark, hate the place, homedepot.. sorry, off to the family owned place.. or a real surply company..
why the hate, the white collar's are the ones that send all the jobs bye bye al for the almighty bottom line.. and for stock price of that companies stock.. slowly eating our own.. and here we sit at the edge of that cliff, feel free to take that first step, it's a lou lou.
to bizzy watching the bottom line to see the bigger picture.. no matter where you make it to save a buck no one can bye your junk if they have no money.. if we don't change our thinking the ship will have sank.. and we are out of time.
i like summit and jegs, the local speed shop that is left is just too damn expensive. i tried him a few times. i never bought tools from summit, oh wait i bought a cylinder hone, ring expander pliers, ring compressor, and cleaning brushes from them. i cant say i would have bought the good stuff ahd they offered it, i dont build engines for a living so the cheap junk fit the bill. i bought a couple of there branded fittings years ago and they were garbage. i learned my lesson from that crap. lowes and hd, they are pretty much not an option for me for tools anymore. ill go right to the source when i need cheap junk, horrible freight. sears doesnt have much of a selection anymore either though.
sears will be history within 18 months.. the off shore owners are running it into the ground
eddie lampert owns sears k mart and auto zoney
My point is, put your money where your mouth is... I just want to know what you guys plan on watching television with...
These 'debates' always irk me... There is a lot of manufacturing going on in the US. Just not the same kind that we all believe will be the country's savior...
I used to work for a company that made buffing pads. I fixed the sewing machines. Meguires was a friend of the owner and we made all of the burgundy/wht and yellow/wht solo one pads and most of the 4000 series pads. if you bought one of those pads in the last 3 yrs, it came from my machines. But 3M bought out meguires and changed to a chinese source for the pads now. everybody got dumped about 6 mo's ago now... I am trying to do rust repair on my hotrod... and am forced to buy from harbor freight... Example: My Dewalt angle grinder wore out and the repair part was 37$, HF had 3 different ones for less than $40. guess what I bought? It bums me out to be forced to buy chinese, but the option is grinding by hand eh?...... and thier sandpaper SUCKS.
those hf grinders have a rotten track record
