Actually Police officers that work at the schools are still employed by the police department, not by the school.........

      Shrimp Fettuchine Alfredo.

Boil the noodles, it takes a long time to cook those - they're pretty thick. When the noodles are almost done, put the peeled and cut up shrimp in there and they're done almost as soon as they hit the water.

Pour all of that into a strainer and then dose in a jar of alfredo suace. Maybe some canned/jarred mushrooms too.

      Delicious.

ever try corn and eggs they rule!!! try it and you will like it

btw - when i got my ticket for 96 in a 20, my foot got alot lighter!!
when the construction worker threw his hard hat and cussed me good, I slowed down
when our assistant principal told me not to let me "catch u doing this again" I lit um up as I drove away
when I lost a week of driving to school, I stopped, for a while
I only seemed to learn when it costed me something.

If you've ever had fried turkey, you know it's better than any turkey you've ever had.

Maybe it's a Southern Thing. You can buy a turkey fryer at Victoria's Secret in Atlanta, from what I've heard.

Three and a quarter by three and a quarter. 325 degrees times three and a quarter minutes per pound. Peanut oil.

Don't do it on a wooden deck. You'll set your house aflame. Do it in the yard. A part of the yard you don't care about ruining.

            Good stuff.

                Mark, WTF is your problem???

For me, I grew up in a small town, population: right around 2000 people. Guess what? All these people knew each other. Most of us didn't DARE do stupid vehicular stuff in town, because our parents were just a phone call away. A few did, and they ended up without a car for their troubles. We still did stupid stuff, but we did it out in the boonies so out chances of getting caught were greatly reduced. And I don't know about anyone else, but at that age, I was way more scared of what my Dad would do to me than what kind of ticket the cops would write me.

The memory of getting caught skipping school in the car is still very vivid. That wasn't a pretty sight...

Wow... you sure know a lot about me. The last speeding ticket I got was the day I took my physical to get hired by the S/O, I was 21 years old. It was 48 in a 35 (that section of roadway was raised to a 45 mph zone about 4 years later) ..... 4 point violation, $144 fine. I plea bargained it down to a defective vehicle 0 point $77 fine with the agreement that I would complete 2 Saturdays of defensive driving classes which were $65 a class ..... so to answer your question, NO I DID NOT JUST PAY THE FINE AND BE DONE WITH .... I took care of it, took the ass chewing from my Dad (yea he still told me what to do and made me responsible when I was 21 yrs old), took an ass chewing from the judge, paid the fine and did the classes .... oh yea, and I had to explain what happened to the Sheriff's Dept and throw myself on their mercy so they would still hire me.

And you point out that the parents will just toss the keys back to the kid .... well shame on them, hopefully they won't have to deal with their bad decision if the kid kills someone down the road.

when i was 16 my folks paid for my first 6 months of insurance...and that was it...if i got a ticket i had to pay it and suffer with the already way high insurance,,(16 yo male 73 camaro) do the math...got my fair share of tickets and then some..i learned quick not to mess around in town ,, 26 years later im a single dad, live in a decent neighborhood where kids ride bikes, skateboards and i blast around on a minibike from time to time...not long ago a kid comes blasting down our street with radio blaring ,import with trash can muffler running through the gears,,, i yell at him to slow down,,,, ,,then it hit me... IM THAT GUY!!!!!!!!as for what happened with the kids racing and how the cop handled it... he might know the kids parents,, and this might be the first time these kids have been pulled over..we can only hope they get the message..

I've finally made it through this clusterf*ck created by certain people and I gotta say, I agree with Bamfster on this. Honestly, I'm having a hard time with a response because I keep getting pissed when I read some other responses. How can ANY of you think it's ok to not punish someone, teenager or not, for such reckless driving!? Forget Bamfster's former job, forget the fact that "we all did stupid stuff," and forget that "a ticket is just punishing the parents." The facts are that some kids were endangering the lives of innocents by street racing in a neighborhood and they got caught, but instead of getting a ticket like they should have, the officer didn't do his job and they aren't learning a damn thing about wrong from right. What if it were YOUR kids walking home from school? Would it be ok then? What if your kid was run over and you found out Darrell across the street had already reported them and all they had to do was write a freakin letter? Just because you might've gotten away with something a few decades ago doesn't mean it's acceptable today.

I don't think any of my tickets affected my parents insurance, I paid my own. I've also never done anything like that in town. Not for fear of hurting someone (though that is a consideration), but for fear of getting caught. There are a lot more cops in town than out on some back road. I'm 22 and say they should have gotten a ticket. If it was a different time of the day, maybe a warning would have been ok, I wasn't there. Doing what they did when they did it should have resulted in a fine. If the parents say "oh well" and give them back the keys, then why not punish the parents? They do have an influence on the way their children turn out.

i am with Bamfster on this one.

they raced down that street MULTIPlE times that day not just once that is not a warning that should be a ticket and a free strip to the station

and before you say it no i have never gotten a speeding ticket only ticket i have ever recived was a BS "failure to maintain equipment" when my trick dropped 7 valve seals and made a pretty smoke show when i kept it from stalling.

yes i did race though but only out in the middle of no ware where. it was the designated spot where we marked off a 1/4 mile. i still could of killed my self and the stray cow this does not change the fact though that those kids got off lucky and will probably do the same crap agian beucase they did not have a real consequance for there idiotic actions

The officer didn't do his job??.....As I see it he did his job very well, it's not like he stood by and did nothing, he pulled them over, gave them a talking to and to HIS discretion decided not to ticket them, but allow the school to punish them for their actions......Which basically means that they will be seeing the Principle and don't think for one minute that their parents aren't going to be called......And put it this way I'm sure just being pulled over and the thought of getting tickets made those kids think twice about their actions......But then I guess if you don't cough up money then it's not punishment.........

On a side note, I don't think any of you should ever come to the Cruise on Central, the fact that people are doing burnouts only a few feet from hundreds of people lining the street with the cops standing and watching while doing nothing would probably give you guys a coronary........
