Um, excuse me. Who the f*ck do you think you are coming in here and basically calling people hypocrites when NO ONE has said that they're "angels" and haven't broken the law? I know I never said that. It's not about a damn fine or anything to do with money. Yes, it might make the kids think twice about doing it if the fine is high enough. But it's about them being held accountable for their actions and there being a record of it.

ya, give the kids a record, thats great.. did you forget that street racing isn't JUST a moving violation??
it's criminal.. you do know that , that on a record can stop them from being in the armed forces(unless thats changed)
getting a job, and college..

"Who the f*ck do you think you are coming in here and basically calling people hypocrites"
calling a spade a spade thats all..
I remember what I was like.. there'd be no free people if we all got punished for the crap we did as teens,20 somethings..
so ya, I'm calling hypocrites
Then maybe the little bastards should've thought about that before acting like jackasses. After nine years, I can tell you how many kids showed up in the Army that had no reason to be there, and I can also tell you how many didn't get over it then and wound up leaving the planet early. Go ahead. Ask me about the kid who flipped his '97 Firebird nose-over-tail four times. Ask me about the one who laid down a bike at over 100mph wearing shorts, a t-shirt, and no helmet. Are you f*cking kidding me? You sincerely think for a second that'll help them?
why you buy a v8 mustang and not the v6?
track time only right.. or is it to tow a trailor?
I make no bones about it, I have a v8 because I like the feeling of speed and torque pushing me into the seat..
don't need it to drive on public roads.. I know it was the exhaust sound that sold you on a v8 over a v6
I guess not .... LOL
And that is my point .... I'm all for giving them a pass when the situation warrants it. But a serious, dangerous, potentially deadly situation needs to be dealt with differently. A big reason is this: the next time these kids comes down my street racing, running over sidewalks, and hit a child, I want the official record that they have done it before. I want their parents to ask why junior nrrds $450 for his allowance to pay a fine .... maybe they will pay attention then.
But I see your point, since the Sheriff dropped the ball, he is now fair game for a lawsuit, and since he put this under the school's authority, they will be as well .... Lord knows the parent shouldn't be accountable .....
My way of joking is to tell the truth. It's the funniest joke in the world.
