Hello Newbie here,

My name is Tom and I in Southern California. My current project is a 69 Chevelle.

Here is the POS I started with:

Had Body media blasted

This is most current. Body is getting close....more block sanding etc. still needed

We shot floor pan with UPOL Raptor bed liner


The frame is almost done. Egine is a '08 LS3 with TKO600 Tremec 5 Speed, Currie 9" rear

I hope to have the body on soon for some fitting. I may even put the car together in primer
or a hot rod flatz coat on it as I am tired of paint jail..and also because like most budget kinda runnin over original plan.

Wow. Nice work. The chassis almost too pretty to cover up.

I'd left the body with the old cracked paint with primer spots, then put it on that nice fancy chassis and drivetrain.

Yah maybe primer spots would have been good. I dig those "B" body cars you have. I had a 66 Biscayne. Wished I had it still. My friends thought I was crazy drag racing a heavy car.
I only sold because I really wanted to drive on the street. It was street legal but with a 13:1 Big Block the VP gas was a killer. I hope to build one again someday.

The Upper and lower front control arms are made by SPC Performance.

Just wanted to try fuel injection and the Gen IV seemed like a good choice. As far as mods, no plans yet. Just want to get it running
and maybe put a maggie on it later.
