The cam's going to be custom anyway (big surprise, not) because of what I want from the motor. Be interesting to see how it works... revised hp figure is 700.

I had 50k on one but I pre oiled before start up.. (pressurized acumulator)

Who was it here that was looking for a partner with a water cooled checkbook? The roller cost only hurts for a little bit, but man does it hurt the first time.
It's kind of funny that we bitch about 1000.00 cam setups - the brain of the engine ... I think this may be a leftover from Super Shops 49.99 Erson Cams. We got spoiled with that and flat tappet friendly oil. Modern roller profiles are awesomely fast comparatively speaking, so it's not just the anti-wipe that attracts me to them. Wish they were 49.99 at Super Shops though... and I wish I would have bought the mountain of Holleys they always had for 99.00
