Car is still in OK. I will pick it up while back there for t-Giving. The 315-60 R-15 Goodyear SST Radials were a pair of prototypes that Goodyear brought to Phoenix for testing. They got with some of our PSCA guys and did A-B-A tests against M/T radials.
I got a KILLER deal on them from the Original tester, who only told me, "Yeah, the 60Ft.s were right with the Mickeys".
Upon my return, I was discussing my problems with a co-worker who is heavily involved in the local heads-up stuff and he told me, "Geez, I was at that test, and it was Ugly, nearly balled up a few cars on the top-end, those tires had major sidewall stability issues.
Then a post on Moparts popped up about the Goodyears, with those in the know claiming that while Goodyear had the 275's staightened out pretty well, the 315's were still having issues!
So when it gets back, I'll try the slicks on it again, then possibly some new Mickeys or Hoosiers. -
