Quick review of the new engine masters magazine
I bought a copy of Pop Rod's latest "Engine Masters" magazine over the weekend (mainly because the bitchin Survival Motorsports SOHC FE Ford was gloriously spread across the non-scratchy cover). (http://www.survivalmotorsports.com/i...6_2011_138.JPG)
Sifting through the obligatory GM LESS propaganda . . . the latest issue of Engine Masters (Winter 2011) was chock-full of great stuff, including:
--A build and dyno test of a nearly $1,000, 399-h.p. Ford 302 (of course the "true believers" in the LESS won't be impressed, which is probably the real reason EM printed the story);
-- A potent, budget MoPar 318;
-- the aforementioned SOHC (that rattled the dyno cell to nearly 900 h.p.);
-- An Edelbrock oval-port 496 BBC build and test.
Don't miss it!Last edited by 38P; December 6, 2011, 05:02 PM.Comment
