    Rashy here. Saying "Hello, and I still smell like gear lube"

    This was my first, and certainly not my last Drag Week...

    I was co-piloting the Black and Silver 53 Ford Gasser owned by the strange, wonderful, totally rehabilitated, gluton free, and restraining order free, Mike Cox. Also known as BulletProof...

    It was a blast meeting you all and I have to say, I go to a TON of events, but this was the one that finally got me out of the funk I've been in since "Pops", The guy who got me started in all this, died two years ago to the opening day of Drag Week.

    I've been a flurry of action since getting home and will be piloting a 59 Biscayne or 59 El Camino next year...

    Can't wait!

          i thought they did back ground checks on who they let in here..... dang !!! since we got back from DW ,ron has rebuild the whole front end on the biscit... not just replace a few parts,, took it all off,painted it ,replaced all the bushing and ball joints .tie rods , gear box..im sure there was more... we also got started on a new motor ....

                              Hey Ron, I guess you must not understand how dragweek works, because I think your suppose to wait untill 3 weeks before the start of dragweek to start a project of that size. Seriously it's great to hear you found the motivation to move forward.

                                  Keep up that head of steam you got going but, as Jason said, you do need to save at least one major headache, I mean project, to get you into that panic stricken thrash that tends to be the normal lead in to Drag Week!

                                      Use the motivation now so you are as ready as you can get, that way the last minute thrash that always happens won't be quite so daunting.
