I love MoKan . . . real, old-fashioned country strip. I say the unlimited guys should have to "improvise, adapt, and overcome," just like the match racers of the '60s did. If they can run FEDs and Fuel Altered at MoKan, why not unlimited cars?

LMAO The Match race cars back then did not go 213 MPH in the 1/4 and the Altereds run the 1/8 mile there now. I know some guys that run there and its a fun track I have been there once. Fun Place

99.9% positive that there will be racing at 3101 North Garnett Road Tulsa, OK 74116.. Next year..

Those wanting a name change.. Are you willing to pitch in to have all of license's changed to reflect a new name? I am not sure what all has to be done but I am POSITIVE keeping Tulsa Raceway Park will be the most cost effective.

As for a forum.. it should be a read only with a section to advertise for sale items and and a section to ask constructive questions..

As for the problem with SS and parking

Really there should just be participants in the pits. this would solve most of the problems with cars parking in people pits and any confusion related to this.

Any time a race track has a customer that does not feel he is getting his moneys worth should be a concern to all of us, because if it is not fixed he will not be the best advertisement on
Monday morning at the water cooler or coffee maker. So regardless of how insignificant those concerns are they should still be addresses without making the person feel as though they are way out of line, as best as that can possibly done..

There is alot of talk about a lease being signed with the new owners. I still have my fingers crossed but I won't believe anything until I see the stage bulbs lit up again. For now I will be going to Mokan this weekend since the Mopar race got moved due to the situation in Tulsa.
