good question.......many (or some) of the BS'ers are staying in Wixom; a few, I think, are bouncing between Warren (hotels on Van Dyke) and/or Utica, and Wixom......some doing the VA visit on Friday afternoon, the Diversified visit on Friday night, maybe even the early registration at the Warren City Hall on Friday afternoon; some even doing the Ferndale/Woodward Cruise on Thursday night....folks seem to have different plans, depending on when they arrive in the Detroit area........me....I've decided to land in Wixom on Thursday early afternoon., try and do the Ferndale/Woodward cruise on Thursday eve, the VA visit on Friday (after the early PT reg. at the Warren City Hall), then to Diversified on Friday eve.....lots of driving......
absolutely nothing wrong with the hotels in Warren, or Utica, they will be close to the activities there (cruises, etc.); I just didn't want to be in a position where I was checking in and out of hotels every day (in addition to doing that each day on the Power Tour)....

We are staying in Wixom Friday and Saturday, might be there Thursday if we get in early. Want to do the Ferndale/Woodward cruise Thursday night, early registration Friday AM, the VA Friday afternoon, Diversified Friday night. Better start resting up now!

I'm planning to just staying in Wixom Fri-Sat, like Rexxdog said, no point in checking in and out of rooms given we have a week to do that, and given I'll have been on the road for a few days already at that point.

The early registration sounds like a good plan, VA visit and then if I recall correctly, Diversified is out toward Wixom anyway, so why drive back to Warren? I could be wrong about where Diversified is, but that was my reasoning...

And if make by Thursday, definitely in for the Ferndale cruise.

Diversfied is in Brighton, much closer to Wixom than Warren, we have reservations at Wixom HIE and at the HI on Vandyke in Warren but I think we are planning on staying in Wixom. Wixom is closer to the proving grounds and Diversfied. Everything that they have going on in Detroit is pretty spread out all over the place. If you want to do it all you are going to be doing some drviing.

VA & Diversified?

We are planning on getting in on Tuesday evening for the GM brand event on Wednesday & some of the early cruising. Nothing planned for Thursday. What is the VA event? VA Hospital? What is the Diversified? An open house of some kind? Are those open to anyone? Anything to do on Thursday except the evening cruise? And is there really no such thing as a stupid question?

Boob: check your pm's...I have an extra in Wixom, a couple in Novi, MI (family is not coming).....early registration on Friday at Warren City Hall (not sure on Saturday, the venue?).......have an extra room at times, along the way, keep me posted.

Hey Bob, I think that we talked in Lincoln in '08. Probably wouldn't remember but I was the guy quizzing you on your interior. Just a spectator that year but we have long hauled every year since.

We are going to try to make the VA (kind of mandatory for me ) and the Friday night shop tour at Diversified. We will also be at the Wixom HIE Friday & Saturday night.

This will be my first tour, that is if the snow continues to hold off. Three snow days will delay the end of school enough so that I will not be able to attend
