Sweet! Now I just need a running car. Maybe the 2012 season, but 2013 for sure. Till then I guess I will just have to show up and volunteer. Kieth, with the setup will there be an open runway while the track is in use?

Nice work, Keith and Co. Lesson here is focus, set a goal, and make it happen. Great news and congrats to all.

Hence the Name Buckeye???? Your exactly our target audience... the folks that live within 400 miles of here and love cars... I'd say this early and often... be on the ball with registration as this first event is going to be packed....

This sounds like fun, I'm thinking about it. I want to wait until the dates are announced first before I commit. Do I need to join the ECTA?

To race you'll need to join the ECTA. To spectate or volunteer, no - though we DO recommend it.

On the volunteer list - I'm planning to do it like usual - 2-3 weeks before the meet I'll post a thread here and on <landracing.com> and gather responses. And you can always Email me at <[email protected]>. People's plans change and I've found it's best not to post too far in advance.

                See y'all in Ohio

By that logic, the SCTA has to change their name because Bonneville, you know, isn't in Southern California.

I'm glad to see they are looking at it constructively as a money maker for the community - not as a band of hoodlums with loud dangerous vehicles.... as too many communities have looked at motorsports in the recent past.
