Whoah!! Hold the presses, when and where can I get a BangShift fishing hat?? Great Idea. Still trying to figure out how you get a Silver Buick out of a Primered Apollo...but sometimes us Mopar guys can't see the forest for the trees (especially Mopar guys who grew up in Oklahoma)!

Chad's wife and I are trying to convince BangShift to make fisherman hats! Mine is a Layne Drilling hat

Because when I got my Skylark in 1995 it had a coat of silver on it, and it didn't go to primer until 2002, which sadly it's been since. I wanted to get it painted before Drag Week, but the classic pre-drag week engine delays kept that from happening.

Yeah, I finally figured out how to use that "Garage" feature...Very interesting. When did the "Apollo" nameplate go away for the small Buicks, or is the Skylark a fancy trim option in those years??
Love the fact that you kept a Buick engine!

The apollo went away when the x-body changed styles in '76, and the Skylark name was brought back. It's a base model, the fancy models had an S/R with bucket seats and console shifter.

And thanks, I like keeping it Buick too, makes it more interesting, then of course piling on the EFI and 5-speed manual make it just that more unique and interesting
