I like how the exhaust cost more than the engine and transmission combined, lol. I'm with Tom.
      Escaped on a technicality.

Adding the cost of stuff you did already seems moot. Why not start fresh, what would be fair market value for the car as it sits right now then deduct that from the total.

Can't wait to see the Mirada worked on again. I'm with Joe, just go with what it's worth right now (unless it's more than the total you already have ).
                  I'm probably wrong

There is NO market for a Chrysler J-body unless it's a racecar or it's a factory prototype. I'll stick with purchase price...

Same here. Worst idea ever: Pull the Diplomat's engine. Should've waited, done exhaust on it and kept the 4spd.

OK, I can't divulge the good news just yet, but there is a complete-by date of June 30th now for the car. And I will be driving it down to Arizona (possibly with a huge-ass detour to KY and maybe more!) late summer. No current cost updates, only thing I don't already have is a set of good shocks for the car.

Not much I can do yet. But on a side note: anyone know of a good (and reasonable) way to ship truck-freight items from GA to either WA or AZ?
