By looking at the pictures - it is in good shape underneath. I wish that they hadn't used different headlights / fenders but Ford seemed to do that quite a bit back in the day.
Yep. That's actually why I liked the Merc, because it was a little different.

I had planned on 2 or 3 years, but it is about 80 per GPS,
My 205 last update from Garmin is a 2010 map, so it is not worth updating.
A new Garmin with "Lifetime" "Maps" & "Traffic" (LTM at the end of the number) like 1450LTM are about 129 to 149 on sale.. Garmin-1450LMT
The 1490 has BlueTooth (which I cant use in the Camaro because I drive with the windows open)
FYI the 2xxx series has some neat features but if you don't know about them you will not miss them.
My wife has one but to me it was too much information.
like picture on the right, the 1xxx Series has the arrow thing that is highlighted, so if there are like 5 lanes you could take it tells you which ones you can take by being bright (see above the 0.2 miles thing)
I still use my 205 (the 2008 Model) everyday driving around here, there are only a few errors, like where they changed the exit for Rte 695 & 95 around Baltimore from a left exit to a right exit, it wasn't a big deal to recalculate. For the most past 99% of the time it is right.
I got the 1450 for my last HRPT and the fact I was going to Canada after, so I rolled it in as an expense for my last trip.
i'm old fashion. i can get a map for free from AAA. and i never had a map send me in the wrong direction
