            Been thinking about the Mayan calendar ending and the 'end of the world' theory.....if the Mayans were so smart, I wonder where they are?

                                    Someone told me this weekend that the Mayan Calendar is based on a 1200 year cycle, and that this year is the end of one cycle, and the beginning of a new one. He got this info from a friend who was in mexico recently, and had just purchased a NEW Mayan Calendar from a street vendor!?
