Thanks, I nearly left my wife when I saw it. We've been running a homemade solution for two years but when I saw this I had to get it. I'll be sleeping in the back yard for several more weeks.

are you going to coat or paint the inlet pipe as well? and yes, that will look excellent when it's installed.

Currently haven't discussed the pipe. Obviously will need to build something new. At this point powder coating it would end up with a lot of black so I am thinking polished aluminum. Wish I knew a carbon fiber fabricator that could whip up a tube without me having to use my grandkids for payment.

I hate it when I spring leaks, then have to clean it off my car.

Just pulled the trigger on an FTI Stage 5 TH400 and all the supporting mods. Should be in next week and hopefully have the car running again within the next two weeks. Knew I should have done this in the first place and feel really good about the decision.

Yep, figured if it took over 6 months to put it together then I would be screwed if I had a problem.

Curious to know if you have a hood in the future to "hide" that powerhouse.

This is the rough cut. I have a really good Hot Rod fabricator who is going to smooth out the cuts and trim the edges with tubing in an effort to make it smooth. There won't be any sharp angles. Been held up by the transmission which I have to have installed before we can finish it. I think the new intake may eliminate some of the extra cut out to the side for the intake tube.

The 6 speed came in today. I am a little sad I won't be using it but I am more and more stoked about the FTI build. Here it is. Greg already has parts en route to Texas.

Went out and saw the actual T56 today. the polished shaft looked incredible. Actually saw the build sheet on it.

Picture of the sheet didn't come out but it was essentially as follows:

                              faceplated by Liberty and included
                              Liberty Billet interlock
                              Liberty Billet Interlock Bolt
                              Liberty Billet shift plate set
Gforce 2.71 ratio 9310 straight cut gear set
micro polished internal parts by Performance Metal
Bronze fork pads and shifter bushing
                              RPM modified 1-2 shift fork.
RPM managed the project and performed the teardown, prep, and shipping.

Polished case? You know you will have to keep it polished. That means crawling under the car with your tub of metal polish and towel at least 3 times a year.
