    How are you going to support the 700? From my understanding the front mounted engines are suppose to have the bell housing supported to distribute the weight of the engine and trans evenly. The 58 and up side mounted engines can be supported at the rear of the trans but when the front mounted 55-57 engine are used with later rear mounted trans it puts a lot of stress on the trans with that big gap between mounting points. I know a lot of guys do it anyway.

      somebody makes a midmount bellhousing for a 700
      he bought the sidemount adapters m no time to put em in , and the cast iron glide works good

          add a rear crossmember under the trans in the stock mount

                that was the only photo from yesterday , we got rained out
                the front end is still off ..going for tags tomorrow

                I was going up today , but the tappan zee bridge was closed lol

                    he got the tags in record time,,, 2 hours ..slight OLD LADY nazi tactics at dmv , but , not bad

                    tonight , we replace cracked leaf springs . 2 inch lowering blocks , radiator new hoses , stainless trans cooler lines and got one fender on

                                the other night , due to all of the rubber gaskets missing from the doors , the doors were slamming into the body over bumps , but richie did some insularting , quite nice now
                                the motor freakin purrs , stock cam , smooth idle , the electronic mallory distributor makes a huge difference , but the 4 jet is very lean , he has a wcfb at home , try that next
