    Re: Cooling

Welcome to the board, I'm thinking it's winter time right now and cooling issues are probably not a problem. ;)

Yes I know business is slow, but don't worry it'll all pick up after tax time. ;)

Advice on the distance to space your AC condensor away from your radiator? Going to be messing with adding the AC back to my Riviera this summer so might as well start with that.

    Re: Cooling

we usually tell customers to space them about 1 inch away from the radiator that will give it the proper distance for it to cool down so your not transfering heat into the radiator

Speaking of spacing, how far should you space the electric fans off the radiator.

    Re: Cooling

They don't make shoeboxes big enough!

Back on topic....trying to cool a late 50s truck with a big block in it. The original radiator (for a 265 ci engine) is kind of tall, and sort of wide, and a tad thick. It just might not be quite big enough for the new engine. All the "universal" aftermarket radiators out there seem to be wide, and not very tall. I guess this works fine for newer cars, but it doesn't do much for my problem. Application specific radiators are pricey.

give me some measurements on your original radiator and i'll give you the best recommendation. Also is it a bb or sb and hp rating
