sweat talked my way into a ride in the Mike/Donna cruise mobile, with possible back up of Just Adam or the Canadians (not on the forum). OK, so call me a ride whore. if all else fails, we can load up the rental and see what it's limits are. the name of this thread is "Bucket List Removal". i'm GOING to have a good time.

I'm coming up but I still need to find a place to stay.

We are for sure going and I think we are staying at the Candlewood Suites Hotel on Troy Center Dr. Have reservations there and also at the Marriott on Big Beaver Rd. Also the guy that has the hotel right on Woodward told us he would call a week or two ahead of time if he has any rooms. Our name is on a list he said. Don't really expect to hear anything back from him. We have rooms for Friday and Saturday night. Is just an hour from home so will plan on getting there early on Friday.

Would it be possible on thrusday to find parking spots to rent

I just called the Shell station on the corner of 13 mile and Woodward which is right in the middle of things. On Friday you can park there first come for any empty spaces. Last year we parked there on Friday. On Saturday they rent out spots, just talked to a guy there and he said the owner is out of town until July 16th so to call them after that and he will start renting spaces then. He thinks they are 50.00 or 75.00 for the day. Their number is 248-549-3250, their address is 31786 Woodward Ave, Royal Oak, Mi

Will check around over the next few days and see if I can find any other places. I am sure you can find other places on Thursday or Friday, there are usually signs out advertising where people have spots to rent. They sometimes are 100.00 or more for the day. There is a park that rents spots but once you drive in on Saturday morning you can't leave with your car will the end of the day.

If I find any other places will post them. There are lots of lots a few blocks off Woodward where you can pay 5.00 and park, we usually just find a side street a block or two off and park and then walk up to Woodward.
