My guess, it will not meet it's reserve and not sell.

Too bad it's not a "recreation" they seem to bring the big bucks.

I say $81,500 and that is probably low but if the rich mooks with way more money than smarts get bidding (and drunk) and that sheister with the shades makes a plea for bids and they get Tom Wopat to sing and dance (hey it's an orange Mopar) and Amy to hold the biggers hand it might go for a million plus.

Well it's not a Factory Altered so it may depend on two Wealthy old Gentlemen bidding against each other trying to impress their Trophy Wives! That was a mean spirited statement to make wasn't it, I feel really bad about that.
I know it's not a factory supplied car as only 6 hardtops were done by/for Chrysler, so one of those would be "extremely" rare. Yet it was a factory backed car built in Detroit using the templates/spec sheet supplied by Chrysler. Still no offense taken (how could I?) as your 100% right in your accesment of some of the bidders with the T-wives. Yet that may be more on "sporty" type cars that the gals actually would like. Not this one. So, this car even though kinda cool, may sell lower than I guessed ($175.000).

Now who's else is gonna post there "selling price" guess?
There were actually 12 - 2 door hardtop altered wheelbase Factory built cars.

I was only counting Plymouths since this is a Plymouth. Counting Plymouth & Dodges I believe you are correct.

OK, got it. Stahl and I put our heads together once and came up with the list & some History of the 12 Factory AWB cars. The car in question only brought $75,000 at BJ Saturday night, that was a shame, hard to believe there wasn't some collector there willing to pay more!

It wasn't one of the 12 Factory AWB cars handed out to the chosen Dozen but it was still a steal. It was a good thing I wasn't there or I might have done something real stupid or at least made the buyer pay more!

It seems all the cars they had big, splashy coverage on didn't bring big numbers.

Also, anyone else notice the ton more ads this year and a lot less cars seen on the block? BOOOOOOO!!!
