Re: Some of the other stuff I do....

I do have a question for you, and I'll even get your name right, Terri- Ha Ha Ha!!

One of my most prized positions is the 1st Cavalry Stetson that I earned during my first deployment when the war intially kicked off March of 03. Would you be able to make, say a nice stetson rack that I could mount on my wall to display my stetson? I also have a gold set of spurs that I earned as well, and I'd Love to hang the spurs with the stetson.....

    Your thoughts?!?!

Sorry Terri, I was in the middle of talking to a "Linda" here at work, and was not thinking!!!!! But I am glad that my mistake made a good laugh for everybody.......thats what I am all about!! :D Whenever you get time to do it will be fine with me. If $40 is the firm price I'll send it to you when you tell me too.

Bucky, I would love to make that for you!! Any ideas on shape, size, etc? Do you want the hat to lay flat against the wall (like hanging on a peg) or make the hanger extend from the wall ( kinda like a hat carrier that fits on the roof of a pickup)? Think about it and give me some ideas. Also, what kind of wood? I have a boatload of aromatic red cedar and black walnut. Either would work really well. Or something else if you don't like either of those!

Matt, was not offended! I knew it was an honest mistake. Just don't let it happen again or I will have to kill you!!!! If you want the 12x18 size, $40 is price. Smaller would be less expensive. Let me know for sure what size and I'll give you a firm price (if size is different). No need to send money till I get it done. Will get to it as soon as I can!

Terri- if you could make it to where the hanger extends from the wall, that would be awesome. As if the stetson is being worn, that way it doesn't loose it's shape. I've actually tried to hang it from a peg, sort of speak, and not only does that stretch the band, but it looses it's form rather quickly. I would think that the aromatic red cedar would look very sharp under a black stetson. If need be, I could always box my stetson up and sent it to you....
