Maybe I should take a few days off and join the party in Muskegon - then head back East.

i have the original "Gone in 60 Sec", "Bullit" and "Smokey & the Bandit" on DVD. Walmart has "Smokey & the Bandit 2" in the $5 bin. Trying to decide if i want to get it.

    Re: 2011 Power Tour

Anyone here going the Long Haul?? Since the Tour starts in Coco Beach near Cape Canaveral and ends at Metro Beach, I have finally found a great car goal for 2011: Long haul from FLA to my home town, Detroit.
My 87 caprice seats 4 very comfortably. Plenty of room in the truck for tools and luggage. Since it is 6 months away its a great excuse to save money and not spend it.
As far as movies...if I recall The Pontiac Silverdome has a drive-in set up that could be used at Metro Beach or the undisclosed location for the Long Haul Awards. Presonally id like to see the Long Haul awards done at the GM RENCEN...FORD Headquarters or Chrysler HQ.
A Bikini car wash would be great. I will never wear a speedo.....although I do have SWIM TRUNKS made by speedo
for more info on All things Michigan to do/see when on the tour visit: www.michigan.org
If anyone would like more info on local cool spots in the Macomb/Oakland County area please let me know.... Eddies Drive In is just 2-1/2 to 3 miles from Metro Beach and thats where Danny Scott and Rick Dyer used to show off the CARS Inc Cars.
