    squirrel's 57 Chevy one ton

I spent some time fooling with my "new" old truck today. I put a starter on the 283, poured some gas in the carb, hotwired it, and it fired right up. Doesn't smoke real bad...yet....but the PO said it smoked, so it probably does! I noticed when I was under the truck that the pass side muffler is covered with burned oil residue, which looks like it came from the road draft tube....hmmm...wonder if the baffle can is missing in the valley? (that's a joke that the old guys might get)

It's probably not your fault, I get that a lot about my web page. Something wrong with the way it updates the name servers or something.

It says that Yahoo can't find the server. Do you have a virtual compass to send 'em?

I took the front drums off. Interesting how some people do brake jobs....long shoes on the left side, short shoes on the right side of the truck.

I wonder if anyone can see these pics?
