    My work in progress

Thought I would try to upload some photos of my newest project, 1973 Pontiac Lemans 455.

Here is a picture of when I bought it

Notice the classy fake lakewood pipes and the dual spotlights.

Here is a photo after I removed a few things and cleaned the car up a little.

Threw some old-school hurricanes on and did a tune up.

Not the best looking car around but I like it and it still does relatively well at the track. Pulling the motor out this week to freshen up a bit and replace some gaskets from sitting so long (rope seal).

    Not bad for $1000.00 ;D

An old buddy had a snot green one when we were in high school. His had louvered quarter windows. Looks like a previous owner covered them on yours with a vinyl top.

Very cool out of the box muscle car you've got there.

That cleaned up quickly! Looking good. Somewhere on here I saw somebody with a later Nova take that big battering-ram front bumper like you have and tuck it up close to the grill. That would be cool.

Yup, previous owner told me that he covered the quarter windows with cardboard and then put the vinyl top on. Glass is still there and I do have a set of the louvered ones in the garage for later. Also the blue dot taillights have not gotten me into trouble yet, but I'm still waiting.

They were pretty bad off, set them out in the trash. I wasn't the gentlest in taking them off either.
