Here are some pics to proof we spend this weekend in a decent way.
We're building a Pontiac Fiero for SG (maybe SC later)
First race weekend is scheduled for June 18 at the Drachten drag strip in The Netherlands and
we're not there yet.

This weekend we fired it up and checked all fluids.
We detected a leaking freeze plug and we had to replace it.
Starter didn't disengage so we clocked and shimmed it a dozen times without positive result.
A new starter is ordered and hopefully we'll be able to test drive it some meters next weekend.

Be glad it is a tube chassis car with just a few Dzus fasteners to remove body work. Working on the engine in it's original location sucks beyond belief.

Looking forward to seeing more of this car.


Fierce Fiero is a cool name too.

New starter came in yesterday. Great job JEGS.
Today we installed the one piece nose and rear and made some pics.

Starter issues gone. Today we were able to put down some rubber.

Yesterday we were able to align the front wheels and set the initial timing to 10 degrees.
And this was our last chance before we head to this year's 1st dragrace weekend at the
Drachten dragstrip, we did some test runs.
