eBay Find: An Oshkosh U-30 Tow Tractor

Although slow and lumbering this thing is just awesome. I have a few stumps to pull in my yard and this would be way more fun than the backhoe.

Two interesting things:
1) The Wright brothers first flight could have taken place inside the C-5 Galaxy with room to spare
2) The C-5 can carry six Greyhound buses or one Abrams tank.

That U-30 looks too tall to tow a C-5. I used to work on later model U-30s made by Grove, FMC, and Jetway at Travis AFB. HMMWV are much more fun to drive. U-30s have no suspension and love to blow hydraulic lines, and get really dirty.
