This '52 (or thereabouts) Plymouth 2-dr. wagon sat at the San Diego "Big Three" swapmeet for $1750 then at a local streetcorner for $750, with no takers. It belonged to a freind who'd owned it for some time and had clear title. Minimal rust, mostly just to the front floors...and most of the parts are there, including the orig. flathead six.
Anyhow it's mine now, for something well under the last asking price. I had been slowly building a Stude pickup truck for cross-country cruising and had began to wonder what I was thinking. Wouldn't we be doing better in a station wagon? At least there's room for the seats to lay back. I wouldn't be starting that project for some time, but there it is for when I'm ready.
Good stuff is out there, dirt cheap.
