I only watched the last 5 minutes of the game (no Big Ten team in the final) but it makes you wonder what the outcome would have been if Butler hadn't burnt their last time out on that inbounds play and they could have set something up with 3.6 seconds to go, many College games have been won with less time then that on the clock. Oh well I'm sure Coach "K" needed a raise anyway!

Dick Vitale and all the pinheads who chose the brackets wanted Duke to win.
That's why Duke's side of the brackets were all easy teams to beat.
Of course, Kansas choked, and there were plenty of other upsets.

Bottom line - Duke was ALMOST beaten by a team from the frickin' HORIZON League of all things.
IMO Duke has nothing to be proud of, and Butler should be holding their heads high.
They will be back next year, and doing even better.

But sorry, Duke did win it. The best part was not having to listen to Dick Vitale OR Billy Packer (scared to death someone will remember he was from Wake Forest).
