Re: LS3 in a Ferrari
If I had a Ferrari that sounded like a generic, belly-button, bowtie motor I'd kill myself.
Half the point of owning something Italian is the sound that would raise Enzo from the dead.Act your age, not your shoe size. - Prince -
Re: LS3 in a Ferrari
the v8 swap was good call.
it came with 3 liters, ricing sound. v8s don't need that anyway... :
there is alot of cars out there that could do this sawp..alot of unsuspecting candidates.Previously boxer3main

Re: LS3 in a Ferrari
I like the 308, a sexy car IMO but that 3.0L engine was garbage...Normally I am not into bastardizations but I am totaly on board with this V8 swap..If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you have enough horsepower. - Mark DonohueComment

Re: LS3 in a Ferrari
a Top Gear episode they compared several 70s supercars - a Lambo, Ferrari, and... can't remember... and every one of them was slower, less reliable, and a more uncomfortable drive then the people carrier they compared it to (english speak for mini-van).... I think the highest hp one was 200 hp at 8000 rpm...Doing it all wrong since 1966Comment

Re: LS3 in a Ferrari
I will say the stock engine does sound good. there's a guy who lives close to me who owns 2 of them and the exhaust on them is pretty loud..... but still sounds goodComment
