    750 is better than 500 (a couple hundred more folks will be able to enrich themselves on eBay).

    But just imagine how much money the bankrupt Cali state government could save if they dumped all the red tape and allowed specially- constructed "replica" vehicles to be titled by year of the OEM design.

    It's about time they recognise that specially constructed vehicles are "overwhelmingly well-maintained" and the "minimal impact" they have on air quality. That in itself is a victory

    one day. they'll figure out it's the east l.a. junkers that are the issue, not the 500-1000 mile a year average hobby car
