I've had one in my stuff going down the track, and it was always within a tench on ET and about 3 mph high.
Since I worked in a small shop, we didn't have a dyno. We would take the customer's on a "pass" with the Gtech installed to get a baseline performance number to compare to. Then we'd work on their stuff (adding a cam, heads, supercharger, gears or turbo) and then take them for another "pass" with the Gtech again. That way they could have some way of quantifying what they just paid for. It sure did burst some of their bubbles initially though. A bunch of them thought they had 12-second cars to start with, when they might only be 15-second cars. Then when we actually gave them back a 12-second car they were REALLY happy!
Bottom line.... It's a good tool!
