    Trukluvr's new project.

Saturday morning I traded off the El Camino for my new project. I picked up an 84 C-10 short box. Basically a stock ride-305, 700R4, set up for a/c, power windows & locks, tilt, and cruise. Had the truck less than an hour and it was on the lift for a 2/5 drop. It does need some minor sheet metal repair, but the parts came with the deal. Here are the first pics take after the drop was done because the batteries were dead in my camera when we picked it up.

Very nice. Those definitely need some lowering.

Does that motor have old school ram's horn exhaust manifolds?

I do beleive it has ram horns. Didnt look real hard under the hood because it runs great. Just had to fix exhaust leaks.

Sweet! Love the square bodies. Good stance!

Not ram's horns-they dump straight down from the center ports. About the only thing they fit on is Corvettes and 70-back Impalas.

Thanks guys. Should go to shop next weekend for sheet metal. Then just need to replace front tires & get alignment before I can drive it like I stole it.

Got some work done this weekend. Removed bad window tinting, replaced burnt out and missing lights, and got the interior cleaned up. It should be going into shop this weekend for sheet metal repairs.

Full 5 inches in the rear - custom made flip kit . 2 inches up front by cutting springs. Will be replacing them down the road with 1 inch drop and adding 2 inch drop spindles.

Nice square body, and yes the short C10s need a drop to look right. Green Bay eh? Maybe I'll have to stop by if I pull the car to the track with the 76. How did you find one with so little rust anyway? I know it wasnt up here.
