the valve covers were $0 so they look even better

It is my neighbors torque wrench, not sure when he has had it calibrated last. Probably borrow my brothers to do the rest.

Things fell together today where car, engine, and transmission met

        Loaded up behind Big Red

        Before, empty engine bay

        Its in there.

        Time to finish the wiring.....

Wiring looks like it's coming along nicely.

Re: 86 Mustang (No clever name yet)

Spent Father's day finishing fuel line, wiring the 6AL, coil, mocking up carb and cleaning up some other wirning. Sorry no Pic's will get them in a few days when I get back work on.

My lower radiator support is fubar'ed. Order a new core support, but it is on back order till July 30th (D'OH). Looks like My neighbor and I will have to fab a new one...

Damned - sorry you didn't figure on that before putting the engine in.

Hopefully with a come along, hammer, a few pry bars, torch and welder - that core support will be back in shape.

Amazing what you can do to factory metal with a come along.... ;D

Hopefully the Demon Carb that Seth is bringing down will be an OK baseline for you - probably put a couple steps down in jets into it after it arrives before you try it - it ran well on the clevo in the ranger (4v heads, unkown cam) but Seth's 454 didn't like it much (no surprise).

Hopefully we can see this thing putting down some numbers at the BSEast gathering #2?

If I wasnt going on vac next week it would probably being done by July 4th. So yes, BS EAST (midwest) gathering #2 is definitly doable.

Got it running today, have some wiring issues, ( i hate/suck at wiring). So it will not be moving until the wiring is figured out.

Work has me pissed off right now so even this is enjoyable. >

That's my weakest skill, also. I just gotta get better at wiring.

Just remember Neal, that all electronic parts have a certain amount of smoke built inside of them,

                        and when it comes out,

the electronic is part is not any good anymore. LOL

The only wiring advise I have. I find wiring much more enjoyable than making and routing brake lines.

Oh, I love doing brake lines. Bending hard lines are one of my favorite things.

Damn you live on the wrong side of the country or we could do some swapping.

By the way, they've got a product now that can fix the smoke:

Where do I get a gallon of that stuff? Although so far, the Buzz Bomb seems to have the smoke pretty well contained. My MGB from days gone by - not so much. I see that's a Lucas part.

I'm fixin' to wire the ignition switch out of La Bomba so I may need some smoke in the near future.

Bob, that's because your not doing it on a rusty late model 3/4 ton pick-up used to plow snow. In the fleet I maintain for the local county Parks & Recreation dept., that's the job type I hate the worst.

This stuff is my new best friend,

Thread jack over Neal, although I'm sure where you are, brake lines aren't a treat either lol, cuz their rusty there too.
