I totally agree with you, can't figure out what Toyota was thinking when they were designing that car, although I admit the face does have a lot of similarities with my wife's shitsu, ... and not to mention I own 1 , it's my wifey's daily driver... good mileage though :D

GM N bodies with the Quad 4 - because my wife has one that has often needed repairs, and most of them are way more complicated than on anything else I've worked on. Usually I can pull off a radiator swap on a FWD four banger in fifteen minutes, this one's more like four hours to do this.

I know you said no Hondas, but the new Accord Crosstour SUV / Aztec knockoff / space pod deserves its own hatedom. I've never seen one on the road, but I've seen quite a few unsold ones on dealer lots. I'm not sure what they were thinking when they decided to lift an Accord a couple inches and add a hatchback that doesn't add any cargo room, particularly since they'd already done this with actual cargo room and called it the Honda Pilot.

Per the new accord "crossover" thingy....

I used to be an engineer for Honda -- trust me THEY DON'T GET IT!

I will never forget having to explain to my Japanese manager what the bed of a pickup was for!

Re: The cars you love to hate...

Pretty much every GM product manufactured after 1966....with the possible exception of the new GMC pickup. I kinda like the way they look.

Maybe it's not so much the vehicles, but maybe the crappy elitist attitude some of their owners have seen fit to throw in my face over the years.

Life is short. Be a do'er and not a shoulda done'er.

Everybody has to own an appliance:

                    Honda Element:

                    Nissan Cube Refrigerator

I think BMW or Mercedes even have/had a version of one of these boxes out, or I've seen a couple good Scion's made up like one.

I've seen a couple in person, and the first one I saw was white and I swore it looked like someone took a refrigerator and put wheels on it. It's even got the rear door handle that looks like a classic refrigerator.

They look like they should be in Latvia or something - used as a cab. Pretty aerodynamic too, up to about 20 MPH.
No, no, not the Shitz-Szu the SCION !!! I feel ya man - I like Chevy's but my wife likes good deals, so she bought a Lincoln MKX using my dad's Z-Plan from Ford/Lincoln-Mercury.

Re: The cars you love to hate...

When I worked in/owned a shop I found cars I hated to work on.

                                1. Minivans, particularly the Caravan with the 3.0 Mitsu pos in them. If one isnt smoking, then its out of oil. Ever so tired of 32 different sized bolts of mixed SAE and metric sizes that are required to be removed to do a water pump. Valve guides dropping and messing with the heads. I loathe those things with the very core of my being.

                                2. Chrysler accessory drives suck, more specifically the crap they put on Omnis (which I seriously hate) and even the stupid crap on Intrepids with the 3.5. Another thing about the Intrepid I hate is when you replace the headlights, you need to tear off the entire fascia because they put two bolts under the bumper skin but above the bar and then they made them from a crappy plastic that gets hard and brittle along with cloudy in just a few years. Otherwise, Intrepids arent bad winter beaters, and nobody cares if they rust in half.

                                3. Civics, more accurately the carbureted ones. Dont touch the carb or you will be spending 2 days rebuilding the POS. Also the Honda that required you to pull the drivers side suspension out and tilt the engine forward after pulling the motor mounts just to remove and replace the alternator. Stupid.

                                4. Ford Windstar/Aerostar. That should be enough, but the thing that grated on me most was the A4LD trans and those stupid hockey pucks in it.

                                5. Any vintage tin other than a Chevy that has a chevy stuffed in it. 32 Ford with a mouse, ick. 29 Dodge with a 350, I would just as soon crush it. Come on, whats the big deal about that little piece of crap anyway? They arent better, they arent even cheap if you want power and reliability from them, but people still stick them in everything and think its faster because of it.

I hate the way post 1974 Chrysler engineers think, and Honda engineers are like sadistic Chrysler engineers having a bad day while smoking crack and tweakin on meth.

I like Pacers though, they remind me of Waynes World.
