Looking for recommendations for a campground for family vacation in the Ft. Meyers/Sanibel Island area. Must be RV, teenager and pet friendly.I am willing to drive a reasonable distance too.
Where's CustmWagon when you need him? lol.

Do what I do. Drop in on your Mom in Clearwater. It's a bit of a drive, but you can stay for free. My wife did it just last week.

i dont know of any in ft meyers but fort desoto is nice and on the water. they have a nice beach and a big pier for fishing.

Probably will, but she lives in a trailer park - oops - I mean "Resident Owned Modular Housing Estate" and has limited parking. Just go easy on her - she's in good shape, but she IS 87.
