    Feb HR cover car

After reading about the supercharged straight eight Packard street rod built by Brain Thomas on the cover of Feb issue of HR, I thought it seemed familiar. Then I remembered I have seen it on Youtube a while ago. Here's a link. I pretty cool car!

Thanks for posting that, Tom. The whole time I was reading about that car I was wishing that I could hear that supercharged straight 8 wail. You just made my day!

I saw that car at bonneville and spent a lot of time looking at it. It was amazing.

I feel bad for doing it, but I have one bitch about the car. Amidst all the fantastic brushed and satin finishes, the blue and red AN fittings and braided line on the one area of the right side of the engine seems out of place. It just bugs me, with all the beautiful hard line work, why introduce that element?

huh ? AN fittings are a nice safety feature and are as 1947 war surplus as bomber seats and safety belts ....rat rods ..... again
