James, I am really pleased you got to drive it over there. I think it sets the tone perfectly. 'specially with the aged, err, vintage, no... uh, dammit, what is the craigslist sales term I'm looking for here... "just needs to be buffed out" exterior!

I'm torn. The black sail panels and t-top trim would make me insane, even as bad as I am, I would have to paint them. The rest of it though, man, I don't know. One side says "make money" and the other side says "they can't be that dumb.. just paint it."

anyway, congrats on getting Bob over there. You didn't really name it Bob did you?

Dude, how is this for neat. One of the professional NHRA funny car drivers that I spoke to this weekend lurks here on BS and specifically mentioned your car as being awesome.

That's awesome!! The only thing I see wrong with that picture is, there are no solid black marks out in the street leading into your driveway ;D

And after watching your video it has me thinking BIG BLOCK for my mustang. Dang you bbr! :D

Ya, and a monster vacuum leak. Uh, and the exhaust studs on one of my headers is broken. So there is an exhaust leak too. Ya, that's it.

I too am surprised anything but the slightest crack of the throttle does not shoot the t tops hurling toward space.

What are your plans for frame connectors / cage?

That image of the t-tops hurling off into space makes for a great mental picture - and here I thought only 3rd gen Camaros had that issue... ;)

It has sfc's and a 6 point in it now. I'm not sure these would come out as tight as they fit after I replaced the felts. This car seems fairly solid. I can jack up one corner and the doors open and close just fine.
