:-[ I did the same thing with my trans cooler lines. Pain in the butt but its done now.

I'd like to see how you did your cooler mounting. I haven't gotten to that part yet, curious to see what you came up with.

I didn't take any pics because it was so basic. It sits in front of the radiator and just has 2 straps of aluminum each screwed to the upper core support near the hood latch and then down to the the lower core support.

I don't think the HHR could fit up front even if I wanted it to.

It's not far from moving under it's own power, but I am trying not to rush myself and do a poor job.

Driveshaft arrived!

NASCAR Busch series take-out driveshaft 4" diameter, 43" c to c, 1350 u-joints. It was raced in the #36 McGill Motorsports car at Richmond, Darlington and Phoenix in 2007.

haha yeah, between me and one of my drafters, we have pretty much had enough parts delivered to our office to build a couple of cars now.

It had the race dates and McGill written on it. Best part was the price: $90 + shipping.

Good price! While I don't remember the $$ I know I paid more for my FMPP aluminum shaft in the 'Stang. Clearly, I got the shaft! (had to say it.....)

I was looking at the radiator/fan situation this weekend. If I lower the radiator approx 1", everything will fit super duper.

So I have decided to chop off the lower core support and replace it with a fabricated one. This is win-win because I like to build stuff and the lower core support is really mangled from someone hooking a tow hook to it once.

Maybe I can get to fabricating it this evening.

Also, on that driveshaft I bought, they saw fit to glue the snap rings in. I like to have never got them out.
