    damn, should have spoke up two weeks ago when i went from so cal to dayton ohio towing my 32 foot enclosed trailer. It was empty going east, GT 1 corvette inside coming west.

    If the tires and wheel bearings are good, you may just want to put a tow bar on it for the whole trip.

    Round here we use log chains, had more than one sheriff shake his head and drive off.
