It's on again. Red Ball Express 2.0 -- AZ to MA

Boys and girls, it's time to get the covered wagon train ready to roll again.

Tony (the Caveman) has a 454 powered truck in Tuscon that needs to come home to Plymouth, Ma.

This is the mission. Thinking caps on.

        It does.

        454--5.13 gears and a 4 speed.

That trip would single handedly raise the price of gasoline.

Alright....In all seriousness.....What kind of rear end? It seems as though if we switched the gears and drove it ala Red Ball....that it would increase the badder asserness by a factor of 100.....And I would totally be in for a LONG leg.

Jim (squirrle) said he may have some gears that would fit it...if he could get them here, someoen swap them out...it could be driven from A to B

Registration and plates and go go go!

'cept the guy driving needs a buddy to follow or he's walking home.

True, and a spare parts kit will have to be assembled just in case...probably could be done via donation

Somebody drive the thing from Tuscon to Las Cruces, New Mexico. I could meet that person there and then drive it to Dallas or Amarillo to hand off to the next driver.

I am a broke joker right now, so I couldn't pay for fuel, but I have some time. If someone from SoCal wants to meet me, I can help with the Western leg of the transfer. I'm a little out of the way, but if it helps....

Like I said in the other thread if someone has a trailer I can run it at least to Albuquerque or the likes, it's only about an 8 to 10 hour drive for me so I could do it in a day. Might also see if I can use a buddy of mines trailer if worse comes to worse.
