Saw a low miles one yesterday.Have never seen a gas engine equipped GM car with that before.Looked just like the diesel equipped versions.Could it be a rare option?

Re: Ever seen a 79 TA wit original engine oil cooler?
I have to take pics of this car.Its an 18 thousand miles black on black car, that has been inside a Museum for a long time.It could have been fitted with the engine oil cooler at a later time. But it sure looked factory.Isnt there some kind of option codes for this..?.Comment

there are some trans am sperts out there , is it a 400 WS6 car ? they built a few in 79
4 speed only with 4 wheel discs
most trans ams were either 403 or 301 in 79Comment

Re: Ever seen a 79 TA wit original engine oil cooler?
Oil cooler is standard on my 5.7 9C1 Police cars... nice big one in front of the A.C condenser. the 94-96 Impala's gm cheaped out and did the in radiator tank oil cooler. but the 9C1's still got the good external one..Comment
