I noticed the fleetside bed has a 1\4 inch steel liner.
That will be very hard while you are laying in it at night trying to get to sleep.

Immediate concerns:

1.) How the F to get that big bastard home, certainly will not be on a car trailer. May have to look into where I can find a HD trailer for a day. You're gonna say drive it, and I'm with you aside from the no brakes thing

2.) Registering a truck that heavy in mass. I'm going to need to find out if I can do it as an antique or if, because of the GVW I'll need to put commercial plates on it...which would probably prevent me from buying it because of the increased insurance and registration costs.

3.) Where to source brake parts for it. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

3) Answer.... Rockwells off of a military truck, got to be about right in size, duty, and I'm sure the 4x4 crowd that idolizes them has brake options.
