I use a Dana for 3 reasons. Keeps my car all Mopar, piece of mind when I let go of the transbrake button on a 3800 pound car, plus it has a cool rear cover that a 9 inch and 8 3/4 don't have ;D

While I am very happy with the Strange Fabricated 9" housing I have in my car, the Strange S60 deal is appealing for someone who really wants to go the route. Much better parts availability for hard core racing, but at that level of expenditure I find the 9" architecture gives more flexibility. I say architecture because my 9" does not have any Ford part numbers in it, but its been bullet proof with the Strange pumpkin and big bearing pinion support.

I run a Detroit Locker and 35 splines for the drags, Drag Week etc. and another pumpkin with a Detroit True-trac and 31 splines for open road. LSR and track day deals. No reason to spin extra weight.

I saved that for the barge like car and driver.
