    Official Leaving Home thread

    Hi folks. Some of you real long distance tour'ers / west coast residents will be hitting the road quite early. I've started this thread so you can do one final post before hitting the road (or airport in Chief's case). Show us when your Long Haul actually begins.

                      Wed 3rd leaving home 6am GMT should be in chicago by 2pm EST and in St Louis by 7.30pm

                          Chuck and I are leaving about 1 pm on Friday and driving into Madison about 10 pm that nite!

                                  Leaving very early Sat. hope to be there before noon.

                                                  Shamu hits the road Tuesday at noon. I don't like to rush.....I'll be staying in Tucumcari, NM, Tulsa, Ok and St. Louis, MO along the way. If all goes well, I'll see you all on Friday in Madison.

                                                          I guess I'm the first to post that I'm actually leaving! Made sure I have all my reservation confirmations, printed out directions and the phone number list. I'm getting a couple hours sleep and heading out in the morning. Talk to you from on the road
