"real racing" -- like "sportsman racing"?

Knowing some of the guys (drag racers) who have to act like "metrosexual boyscouts" on teevee in order to keep the people who are paying for their operations, I can say that they are wild men when the cameras are off.

I need to act like a normal human at work too.

Re: NASCAR Investigating a Large Drop in TV Ratings

I to would like to see a team win all the post chase races. Some teams to better after the first half of the year, by then its to late to be in the points. thats totally "F'd" up.

          1. I missed the last two weeks of watching the Races, there is no advertising except when the Race is on.

          2. All the wrecks happen while they are on commercial breaks. And you don't have commercials when there is 4 laps to go.

          3. They don't need commercials to begin with, that's what the Cars are for.
I'm not going to by Tampons while the Race is on anyhow...

          4. Digger is an ASS.

          5. Don't bump you might make the other guy drive his car.

          6. Your Speeding on the Pit road.

          7. How does Kyle Twat win every Race and his teammates fight to be in the top 20? I'd be pissed if they were not working on my car to get me in the money.

          8. Boogedy, Boogedy, Boogedy, Go Fast, Turn Left Boy's...

            Here's a reason. It's BORING.

The Cars are Boring, (especially COT)
            The Tracks are Boring
            The Drivers are Boring
            The Chase is Boring

Bring back real cars and real drivers. More road races and maybe a dirt track or two! Do something other than friggin cookie cutter cars running in circles on super speedways.

Both of these just gag me. When I watched, I turned the volume down before DW (gag me again) starts with his "signature line" at the start of a race.

I've always thought of adding more road races would make it more interesting, instead of boring ovals. I would sometimes watch the start, sleep throughout the race, and wake up to check who won. I'm also into Formula1 and I believe a real race drivers can turn right.

                  #1 - Is boring

                  #2 - COT

                    Not edited for T.V.

I hear what you're saying but they could at least get as emotional as baseball players... it is RACING after all.

EVERYTHING should be changed. even in the early 2000's(after dale sr. died.) it was better than it is now and it still wasnt any good then either. every decision they make just makes it worse and worse

I think Nascar has sucked ever since Iv'e been paying attention (mid 90s to later).

But I am entertained by the guys who are just SURE it's TOYOTA - those damned japachinesicans - that are ruining such a great thing!!

I don't watch near as often as I used to because of toyota, no car they ever made I would ever think about racing. Sure the fusion's not a raceworthy car either, but they used to make cars to race, and engines similar to production ones. But I still want a Dodge to win, even though it's not actually a Dodge.
