Engine type?
Mine were sporatic. Started with three on the drivers side, then two on the passenger side, then I lost track of which ones got oil next, it just took some time. I was probably on it for at least 30 minutes before all the rockers had oil on them.

letting the drill cool down now while seeking advice.

rotate the engine some with a pull bar. see if that gets the oil up there.
what are you using to prime with ?if it is just a shaft with out the collar on it like the bottom ot the dist. you may not get oil on the other side
Dave got it, I was using just a shaft with no collar. got another distributor(hard to do on a sunday in a small damn town) ..
ripped it apart, ground down the shaft to fit in the drill, and boom... oil on both sides.
thanks the input guys!
