Does everybody know that roadster in WM's last post? That's the Thacker & Shine Roadster - a WAY COOL car. I always forget the names of the new owners, but they seem to be great folks. Great shot, just as the 'chute comes out.

We didn't get much here at the coast - just some well-needed rain. St. Pauls (Terry & Cindia) and Fayetteville (Joe Roberts) looked like they got slammed quite a bit harder. Not sure if anything hit the track, but our stuff is all locked away and should be OK.

I think that was in Lumberton, about 40 miles or so from the track. We didn't see any serious damage in Maxton or Laurinberg on the local news - and they usually cover such things. They have 1 1/2 hours of news time to fill and Maxton/Laurinberg is within our local news coverage area.

We got some much needed rain as well, but no real bad weather. We are still almost 4 inches short of our normal rainfall at this point in the year. That and summer is on its way makes me worry about the farmers in our area.
