    Re: MAXTON - May 16th & 17th

That's what I'm doing. I'm afraid the sock is crapped up and collapsed, thereby restricting flow. The Holley Blue seems to have trouble keeping up with my puny little carb, which doesn't make sense. But it can wait a meet. Focusing on the critical - just ordered a 4 degree offset crank key which will be here tomorrow from Jegs - pricey, with the shipping. We'd like to advance 6 but that key is not available. Have to remember to advance the cam backwards - it rotates opposite of the crank (gear drive). It's nice to have someone on speed dial who actually KNOWS these engines instead of me guessing.

Maybe that's OK - the fake dot is obviously "protecting" a fake brain.

And Terry - only apply the hammer to a helmet with a head in it - anywhere else is unfair.

The front will move through quicker than they expect and the whole weekend will be more like Sunday's forecast.
Let's see what it looks like next Wednesday ...
