I have to say, that I saw or heard more people run 199.xxx mph in one weekend than I have ever heard before in my 4 years of not missing a single Maxton event. Even the guy with the blue first gen camaro that is the master of 197mph, ran 199. Incredible

We took off about 1 pm Sunday. Who ended up winning the jackets? Did the Green Junk make an appearance? Did the Waddells finally make it to the staging lanes? Inquiring minds wan to know!

I felt for the guy in the blue Camaro.....He needs a little more nitrous.....150 is nothing on that motor....200-250 shot and he is there.

Is that the first gen camaro? That thing was around last year and looked like a drag car. Dad and I have fanstasized about putting a set of tall cogs in the back of the Nova and letting it eat.

no you can count on him to continue to run 197mph like he has every meet, he ran 199.8 because there was a 16mph tail wind. he won't lower the car cause he won't listen. i'm going to offer him my front wheels and tires next race. they're only 22" tall instead of his 26-28" ers

Alot of them still have the drag race mentality, Which is 180 out from what they need to do. I learned to watch and ask questions from those that have been there. It helped me get another 12 out of the Old Kia. Not much but it did go faster...
