    cdi wiring opnions

I am drawing stuff out, lists, reciepts..setting up for a sale or trade. Am going over details so anyone can understand.
Above is final for ignition, oem is still plug and playable. no hacks.

one thing I noticed was the bat wire I ran myself to dual ignition switch (lower left photo)..the accel box is fused, but magnetic pickup is not. Should I run a fuse on the bat wire?

I also bypassed the fuel control box, it had an 8v mode that starved the little sube fuel pressure on long hills ..still an oem option as it worked. I suppose I ought to put a fuse where I tapped another power source...but not sure. the tap is an oem circuit, must be a fuse someplace, could leave it alone.

the setup is many times more robust than oem, key switch is cool..purpose was balance loading, time in mag pickup -> run wire -> accel box. (that electrical timing is also tighter now than oem on one switch).

anything I am missing? the 500m ohm is, ironically, a junk piece from a pc power supply, filters ultra capacitor energy away from the circuit is connected to..exactly correct type by chance, keeps energy into coil instead of slamming the tach.

Can't hurt. I'd check and make sure one of those oem wires aren't a fusible link or something first though.

that is why I split load. fuse link got warm,I then put oem back to oem load.

I suppose an external fuse is a good idea, right at battery hookup. I knew of an ASE growing up who'd call my setup half assed.. (just add fuse to be sure)

I'll go for a 15 or twenty..as the setup is exponential ignition.

        30 amp inline blade waterproof

I just ordered one for 3 bucks.
I need the big guage version for the machine wire covering is thick, and wire is tough..still advertised for cars.
it does splice right in, good enough.

slap a twenty in the 30 amp capable little box.

I found it is not only the mag wire unfused, but the switch itself.
oem run is on oem fuse link, I simply tapped the big wire it was running off of already.

3 bucks is better than 200.
